WINDSPIRE ENERGY ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGE
Reno, Nevada(October 5, 2010) -The Board of Directors of Windspire Energy, Inc. announced today that Walt Borland, President and CEO, has decided to resign, effective immediately.
Walt Borland, in communicating his decision, remarked that having successfully stabilized the business and focused its operations that it was time once again to concentrate on his personal interests. “I will always be proud of my association with Windspire Energy and wish them continued success,” said Mr. Borland.
“We thank Walt for his contribution to resolving important relationship issues with both customers and suppliers and leading the repositioning of Windspire for market leadership and growth,” said Giacomo Marini, Chairman of the Board and representative of lead investor Noventi Ventures.
The Board plans to explore a full range of options as it considers the CEO succession. In the interim, James Horn, Managing Director of Noventi Ventures, will lead an Operating Committee of Windspire Energy’s senior management to assure management continuity under the direction of the Chairman.
